FILLING THE AREAS WITH COLOR
This can be the most simple (and the fastest) way to color a drawing in Photoshop. Here you simply fill each field/area on the drawing with a plain color, using the "Paint bucket tool".
On this picture I show where you'll find this tool. "Paint bucket tool" looks like a paint bucket that leaks a little paint - the red arrow on the pic shows you where you'll find it.
When you have chosen this tool you just need to choose a color, and click on the area you want to fill it with. |
The only thing you need to be aware of, is to keep the lines without gaps, or else the color will leak outside.

This is, as mentioned, a very simple way to color your drawings, and it goes very quickly. The question is, however, if you really want to do it as simple as this ;)
But if you for example only want to color a drawing to see what colors matches best, or want to make a quick colorsketch, and so on, this is a pretty nice alternative that doesn't require much of your time.
