GRADIENT TOOL

Coloring by using Gradient tool is a pretty simple and quick way to do it as well, and at the same time you'll also be able to give your drawing some shading effects and make it more lively, than you would if you just filled the areas with a plain color.

If you're going to use Gradient tool, you should first cover the area you want to color by using the "Magic wand tool".

This tool simply looks like a magic wand, and the red arrow on the pic here shows where you'll find it.

When you're going to use Magic wand tool you simply click on the area you want to fill - just make sure there aren't any gaps so it won't leak outside.

When you're going to use Gradient tool, you'll use two different colors (like shown on the picture). Very often it'll look best if you use a light and dark gradiation of the same color, all depending on what you're going to color of course.

You'll find Gradient tool where the red arrow on the pic points, but it is at the same place as the Paint bucket tool, and you'll have to hold the button down to get this tool from the menu, like shown on the picture below.

After that you'll just draw a "line" in the direction you want the colors (like shown on the picture).

This is then another method that doesn't require much time and effort, and that also gives a little more "life" to the drawing.
