Be aware of your limits

The most important step in making your own animation is to be aware of your limitations.

REMEMBER THAT THE RESULT WILL NOT BE PROFESSIONAL!

If you think you can show off your own Disney within a few weeks, you need to get your feet back on the ground pretty fast. You will most probably not be able to perform anything alike what's being shown on the TV. Those animations are made by professional animators that has an education within the subject, and years of experience. You do not learn animation within a few days, and if you want to even come near something alike the "tv-cartoons" quality, it will most likely take you years. If you work hard with it.

And also remember that these animators use professional equipment. While you maybe use pen and paper, and set your animation together in Windows Movie Maker or something alike.

So, now when you've gotten a little "reminder" of the realistic possibilities you have, and that you shouldn't compare yourself with professionals that has it as their job, it's time for you to make your first animations ^_^
