ive lost all my saved files for some reason ,… when i start up the game it sets me all the way to the start again …
Have you checked if the save file is in the folder where the game is located? (The save file is called “w3save”).
i checked and i cant find anything ,… is like whole game is restarted
You mean the save file is not there at all? When you downloaded the new version, did you download it to the same folder as the old version (replaced the old .exe file?)
The game file and the save file are two separate files, and when you download a new version of the game, the old save file is not affected in any way. If it hasn’t been moved or deleted, it should be there. Have you checked your trash folder if you might have accidentally deleted it?
I remember someone having a similar issue a while back, where he couldn’t get the games to save. We found out that it had to do with some settings in his antivirus program…it could be a similar issue, however in his case he could still see the old save files he had, he just had problems creating new ones…while in your case, you cannot see the save file there at all?
