I'M CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING ANY NEW LINK EXCHANGES, UNLESS THEY ARE FROM HENTAI OR CARTOON PORN ARTISTS WHO'S GOT THEIR SITE HOSTED ON THEIR OWN DOMAIN (NO FREEHOSTED BLOGS ETC.) AND HAVE BEEN RUNNING THE SITE FOR AT LEAST TWO YEARS.
My site's got a nice amount of traffic, and with most link exchanges I do, the exchanger benefits more from it than me. In order to prevent tons of linkexchange-requests from non-relevant sites, spammy sites, sites where the owner's just interested in a boost in traffic and removes my link shortly after, and so on, I've decided to put this restriction up. I'll only consider link exchanges from hentai artists who's dedicated enough to their work to have spent some money on their own domain at least, and have been running their site for at least two years. That means I'm not accepting any other link exchanges where the art displayed on that site doesn't belong to the one who owns the site (unless we're talking about some kind of artist community where the artists themselves uploads the work, of course).
If you think it's unfair of me to put up such a restriction...well, try to put yourself in my shoes: working for 9+ years building a site and creating new content, investing a lot of money on increasing its traffic...and when finally achieved, then get a ton of requests from people who want me to link to them when their site hardly send me any traffic at all (or they place my link in a big bannerfarm, put a no-follow on it, or even worse). I've spent a lot of time and money on building this website and increasing its traffic and popularity, and it's only fair that I'll be able to choose who are in the position to benefit from that or not. If I just kept on saying yes to every link exchange request I got, my site would've ended up as a worthless bannerfarm anyway, and the value of the link exchanges would've more or less disappeared and no one would've had any benefits from that. If you're interested in my traffic but doesn't qualify for a link exchange, you can buy an ad spot here instead :)

Please save the buttons / banners to your own harddisk. Don't direct link. If you do that, you might end up with a broken image because it happens that I move files around. And there's something called bandwidth..! And link to http://www.vanjas-world.com and not to pages within, like for example http://www.vanjas-world.com/something.htm
Also, the link to my site must be clearly visible on yours. I don't want to do a link exchange if I get placed in a bannerfarm or somewhere where it's hardly even visible to the users.

USING A TEXTLINK? Textlinks are also fine, and sometimes even better than a button, especially if you have links in a blog and don't want to fill it up with a bunch of banners ;). However, if your links doesn't have descriptions under them to tell the visitor what the site is all about, I'd highly appreciate if you could change the link title to something that better describes my site. "Vanja's World" doesn't really describe much, and if anything, I have found out that many people don't think it's a hentai site and expect a porn model site or something completely non-adult related...examples of titles could be "Hentai art by Vanja", "Vanjas hentai art", "Adult art by Vanja" or something like that. Makes people know what they're heading to ;)
